The lecture will explain how to design great user interfaces for today’s software systems and how to fully leverage technological and human advances to create the next generation of human machine interaction.

In the lecture we will review the way people interact with machines by discussing the evolution of information transfer. By constantly expanding the complexity and intricacy of systems, people have had to adapt and learn more, leading to a constantly rising body of knowledge. As a result of this, the understandings of technology expected from the average person to demonstrate has been growing at an exponential rate.

Building human, machine interfaces is now becoming standardized and more efficient. It is now time to utilize lessons learned during the sunset of the fourth industrial revolution, leverage our newly gained knowledge, and build human machine interactive experiences that support and promote future applications.
